We don’t use traditional wood filler in our manufacturing process. Instead, knots and natural irregularities are filled with a specially developed powder that is pressed into the surface as the board is compressed during production.
When the floor is brushed to enhance the wood’s natural texture, a small amount of the filling material may also be removed. This can sometimes result in a slight difference in height between the wood and the filled area, which is a natural result of the manufacturing and surface treatment process.
As part of our commitment to more sustainable production, we use lightly carbonised wood powder to colour the filling material instead of traditional colour pigments. This helps reduce the use of added colourants while giving the filled areas a natural appearance.
