Paris office renovation

At 60 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière in Paris, the real estate operating brand of the Asgard group – Jöro – has transformed their office space. The recent renovation, spearheaded by the innovative minds at Jöro Studio, saw the modernisation of a classic Haussmann building.

The offices needed to meet contemporary business needs and introduced modern workspaces with open areas, meeting rooms, team zones and phone booths. 562 sqm of Woodura Planks 3.0 in the colour Natural and plank size L were installed.

“Our offer of flexible offices with services, Jöro Office, is aimed at companies looking for flexibility and attractive spaces,” says Bérénice Carrey, head of Marketing & Communications at Jöro. “Our desire is to create hybrid and inspiring places where you feel good, like at home.”

“We aim to create workspaces designed as real places for living and sharing so that each company can benefit from tailor-made offices and concentrate on its own business.”

From PVC to wood flooring

The Jöro Poissonnière office was originally outfitted with PVC flooring, a common feature in many office spaces of the time. “The objective was therefore to enhance the existing framework in order to restore its prestige, by replacing the covering with a robust wood floor specifically suited to office use,” says Leslie Triquet, architect at Jöro Studio.

Woodura Planks 3.0 were selected since they’re specifically designed to be more sustainable. “The floor is made in Europe using sustainable methods, using wood waste to create a dense and durable product,” says Leslie Triquet.

“The floor embodies remarkable durability for an office space, exceeding the standards of conventional engineered parquet floors.”

This project shows flexible, high-end workspaces that cater to the evolving urban landscape, and the Jöro Poissonnière's renovation exemplifies how thoughtful design and sustainable practices can transform office spaces into modern, inspiring environments.

The feedback?

“We are delighted with the result because the aesthetic of the floor is very natural and perfectly meets our requirements in terms of colours, maintenance and durability,” shares Leslie Triquet. “From the installers’ point of view, the installation turned out to be very simple, presenting no particular difficulty.”

The result is a workspace that blends durability with elegance, enhancing the natural beauty of the Haussmann building. While the floor meets the aesthetic and functional requirements, it is aligned with Jöro's commitment to sustainability and high-end design.
