Bjelin partners with Swedish homebuilder Älvsbyhus
Swedish house manufacturer Älvsbyhus has added Bjelin’s S-sized Woodura Planks to its flooring offering. The collaboration brings hardened wood flooring to a company known for making home ownership accessible to first-time buyers.
Älvsbyhus has selected Bjelin’s Woodura Planks in the smaller plank format, with all five colours available within its standard concept. “Choosing the right materials is an important part of our model,” says Kenneth Søberg, Purchasing Manager at Älvsbyhus. “We were looking for a wood floor that works well with our homes and meets the expectations of our customers, while fitting into the efficient way we build.”
For Bjelin, the partnership represents an important collaboration within the Swedish new-build housing market and demonstrates how Woodura flooring can work at scale in residential projects. The small-sized plank format offers a versatile flooring solution for new homes, combining real wood with a practical size that works across different spaces.
“Älvsbyhus has a very clear concept and knows exactly who they are building for,” says Rasmus Enoksson, Sales Manager, Sweden and Denmark. ”That makes this an exciting partnership for us. Woodura flooring combines the look and feel of real wood with the performance and resource efficiency needed for modern homes, and we’re proud to see it become part of Älvsbyhus’ offering.”
Woodura flooring combines real wood with the surface technology, Woodura, making more efficient use of valuable wood raw material while producing a floor with high resistance to dents and water. The planks are also designed for quick click installation, making them well suited to large-scale residential construction.
